Summary

A possible World War II or Cold War Norcon-style pillbox located on the causeway on the west perimeter of HMS Osprey base, east of the Weymouth - Portland road. Construction is of pre-cast reinforced concrete rings, approximately 3-4 rings high. A field visit in 1998 found the structure to be in a good condition.

Modern Norcon-style pillbox made of pre-cast reinforced concrete rings, approx. 3-4 rings high [may date from WW2]. LOCATION: On causeway on W perimeter of HMS Osprey base to E of Weymouth - Portland road: just S of oil tanks. Condition: good. <1-3>
