Summary
In 2005 Wessex Archaeology carried out an archaeological evaluation of land to the rear of Dorchester Post Office proposed for re-development. A number of archaeological features of late Iron Age/Roman date were revealed, including (in evaluation Trench 3) a possible construction cut for wall footings.
