Please read our .

Summary

Ridged and ditched linear features within a field to the east of Morden are visible within as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features might be those of medieval ridge and furrow. They appear to be overlain by later drainage ditches (MDO46947) but it is possible they are alternatively drainage features themselves, of medieval to post medieval date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
