Summary
Areas of ridged and ditched cultivation in fields to the south of Peaton's Farm, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered to probably be those of medieval ridge and furrow. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
Areas of ridged and ditched cultivation in fields to the south of Peaton's Farm, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as faint earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are considered to probably be those of medieval ridge and furrow. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on available Google Earth imagery.
