Summary
An area of ridged and ditched cultivation in a field to the south of Peaton's Farm, Lytchett Matravers, is visible as faint earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered to probably be those of medieval ridge and furrow and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
An area of ridged and ditched cultivation in a field to the south of Peaton's Farm, Lytchett Matravers, is visible as faint earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are considered to probably be those of medieval ridge and furrow and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.The features are no longer visible on available Google Earth imagery.
