Summary
Banked linear features in fields to the northeast of St Mary's Church, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features appear to overlie an area of probable medieval ridge and furrow (MDO47000) and are considered likely to be field boundaries of post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
Banked linear features in fields to the northeast of St Mary's Church, Lytchett Matravers, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features appear to overlie an area of probable medieval ridge and furrow (MDO47000) and are considered likely to be field boundaries of post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on available Google Earth imagery.
