A banked linear feature in a field to the north of Lytchett Matravers is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The feature is considered likely to be a historic field boundary of probable post medieval date and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The feature is no longer visible on 2022 Google Earth imagery.
