A linear hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west of Stone Pits, Winterborne Whitchurch (1-2). It is considered likely to be a post medieval extractive pit and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
