They range in size form 30-40m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.

Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in a field to the west of Scent Close Plantation, Winterborne Whitechurch <1>. They range in size form 30-40m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.
