Summary
Two World War Two anti-tank obstacles, comprising concrete cubes, are situated above the very steep cutting of the disused railway line, 50 yards from the main Maiden Newton to Crewkerne Road near Higher Frome Vauchurch. The structures were constructed 1940-41. A field survey in 1997 found the structures to be in a good condition.

Full Description
2 anti-tank obstacles situated above the very steep cutting of the disused railway line. Constructed of concrete in 4ins-6ins horizontal wide bands, both are positioned edge on to each other. None are found on the opposite embankment. Dimensions, 42ins square (approx.), 4ft (approx.) protruding from the surface, 18ins apex on top, 32 ins between obstacles.Above the cutting of the disused railway line, 50 yards from the main Maiden Newton to Crewkerne Road. <1-3>
