Summary

Site of brewery destroyed by fire in 1859, when it took a large part of the village with it. It appears as a dwelling, malthouse and orchard on the Tithe Map of 1844, but was not rebuilt after the fire. The site had been cleared by the time of the OS 25-inch map of 1887, although it is said that the front wall facing the street survived until the 1960s. Site not located.
