A hoard of coins found in 1840 under the floor of a barton. It was reported that there were 400-500 silver coins, most Henry VIII and Edward VI.

Full Description
An earthenware vessel containing from 400-500 silver coins, chiefly groats and demi-groats of Henry VIII with some of Edward IV, found in June 1840 under the floor of a barton at Loders, near Bridport. The greater number of the coins were sent to London. <1-2>
