Find Spot record MDO47429 - Palaeolithic handaxes, Townsend, Bournemouth

Summary
Five Lower Palaeolithic handaxes were reported as being found at Townsend, off Castle Lane, Long Barrow Road and Cooper Deans. The latter two localities may be Long Barrow Close and Cooper Dean Drive respectivly. The objects were found in an area of Terrace 5 gravel geology.
