Summary
One of a line of three barrows on the centre of a ridge. In 1970 this monument was described as around 87 feet in diameter with a mound 1 foot high, spread and reduced by ploughing. The site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1989 and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

Full Description
A rapid examination of air photography suggests the presence of an additional possible round barrow site, of Prehistoric or Roman date, visible as a double (concentric) ring ditch cropmark at SY 8319 9664 ('C'). <1>
