Full Description

The chapel stands at the east end of Higher Ham near the Mansion House (? Manor House SY 99 SE 7) and appears to have been a small ancient fabric consisting of a chancel, body and turret at the west end. It was ruined in the Civil Wars and only the walls remain. <1> The church was partly demolished during the Civil War period of the 17th century in order to provide building material for the defences of Poole. <2> This church cannot be accurately sited. No further information was found during field investigation. <3>
