Full Description
The Chapel of St Rumwold, (or St Rowold), documented in 1405, has been sited from documentary evidence to te 5th plot on the east side of South Street below Durngate Street. Post-Roman features found during excavations in advance of development i 1955-6 could relate to the chapel, or to a boundary wall around it. <1-3>
