Full Description
Neolithic mace-head, with 'hour-glass' perforation, of brown fine grained stone, oval shaped, chipped in one place at one end and worn at the other. Found at Frampton and presented to the Dorset Co. Museum by Mr J.E Brown, Estate Office, Frampton. Acc No. 1937.32.1. <1>
No information was obtained upon this mace-head. The Frampton Estate no longer exists, and Mr J.E Brown could not be contacted. <2>
