Full Description
In unlocated barrows from near Milborne St Andrew, a Middle Bronze Age urn with an amulet and a bodkin were found.
Their assumed location was in the same location as the existing Double Ring Ditch (MDO4388) , and Round Barrow (MDO4387), east of Gould's Farmhouse.
In the Dorset Co Museum, are two MBA urns, one with rudimentary handles, from barrows; several LBA bucket urns from a barrow, and (? The same as the last) 12-14 bucket urns from a barrow opened in 1864. (3,4). In the British Museum.(1)
No evidence was obtained during field investigation to show where these barrows may have been situated. (5)
