Full Description

A bronze tubular bead or leaf cylinder from Roke Down, Bere Regis. It possesses peripheral corrugations and was found on a horse shoe-handled urn of LBA type. In the Durden Collection, British Museum. (1-2) No information regarding the site of this find was obtained during field investigation. (3) See SY 89 NW 49 for a similar urn and bead found on Bere Regis Down. (4)
