Summary
A bowl barrow in the parish of Wynford Eagle was opened in 1675 by Dr Sydenham, who found a cist beneath a cairn. There was an urn containing bones and ashes in the cist, and another sixteen urns containing bones and ashes were found.

Full Description
A barrow on the parish of WYNFORD EAGLE was opened by Dr. SYDENHAM in 1675. Beneath a cairn was a cist containing an urn full of bones and ashes. Sixteen further urns, one with lugs, containing unburned bones and ashes were also found. <1-2>
No further information was found during field investigation, and no barrow was seen in the parish of WYNFORD EAGLE pertaining to this sheet. <3>
