Full Description

A barrow at Hampreston was opened by Sir J. Guest and produced a secondary urn, with a herringbone pattern on the shoulder, containing burnt bones. <1-2> No further information was obtained during field investigation to link this report to a sited barrow. The location of the urn was not ascertained. <3> No further information. <4>
