Full Description

Bronze Age cup found in the garden of Wareham House (SY 703901) by Mr. T. Paine in 1892. Now in Dorset County Museum Acc. No. 1892.32.1. (1) Early Bronze Age cup "found at Dorchester is of very fine black ware with delicately incised ornament both in its upper and lower parts and with the exterior zoned with cordons and having small perforated lugs". (2)
