Summary
1311 wreck of Spanish cargo vessel which stranded at a place described as "le Sake" of Lyme Regis on her passage from Spain to England. The merchants' money and goods were stolen by the local population. Constructed of wood, the ship was a sailing vessel.

Full Description
'Sept. 28, London. The like to William de Burne, Walter de Skydemor and Richard de Chuseldene, touching the representation by Fernaldus Martyn and Peter de Garsi and their fellows, merchants of Spain, that, when they were on their way with their wares to England in a ship of Spain, which was wrecked in "le Sake" of Lym on the sea coast near Abbesdesbury, co. Dorset, from which they escaped to the shore, certain persons of the county of Dorset broke chests of theirs when washed ashore and appropriated 100 marks of gros Tournois and 100 marks sterling together with other goods of theirs.
