Summary
A sub circular hollow feature to the north of Modus Coppice, Buckland Newton, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is recorded on the OS 1st Edition map as an old chalk pit, where it was associated with an old lime kiln (MDO576), not identified on lidar imagery. The chalk pit was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.

A sub circular hollow feature to the north of Modus Coppice, Buckland Newton, is visible as an earthwork on Environment Agency lidar imagery [1].
