A concentration of sub circular hollow features to the northwest of Mildron Copse, Alton Pancras, are visible as earthworks on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are recorded on the OS 1st Edition map as old flint pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
