A concentration of sub circular hollow features to the north of Black Hill Farm, Cerne Abbas, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Cerne and Piddle AIM project.
