Full Description

(ST 91651425) Possible enclosure on Dungrove Hill, visible only on air photographs. The feature is roughly circular and about 200 feet in diameter. A narrow funnelled entrance leads into it on the south east. <1> There is no visible surface indication of the possible enclosure on Dungrove Hill. The site falls in arable farmland, on a gentle south west facing slope of a small spur at 400 ft OD. <2> The site is possibly classifiable as a banjo enclosure [airphotograph transcription plan and consideration of comparable enclosures]. <3-4<
