Full Description

RCHME described it as a mound nearly levelled by ploughing but circa 28 feet in diameter. This barrow was originally recorded as part of ST 91 SE 61. The Bronze Age round barrow referred to as barrow "E" within the Hyde Hill Plantation group (ST 91 SE 61 / UID: 210105 (see also ST 91 SE 193 to 204)) is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1943 but has subsequently been ploughed level. It is centred at ST 9516 1040 and comprises a circular mound which measures 8m in diameter. The barrow appears to have been ploughed level on aerial photographs taken in 1988. <1, 4>
