Summary
A Bronze Age bowl barrow, which is known as barrow "J" of the Hyde Hill Plantation group. It was described by RCHME as a plough-levelled mound 44 feet in diameter.

Full Description
ST 95401017. Earthwork remains of a bowl barrow, part of the Hyde Hill plantation group. <5>
The Bronze Age round barrow referred to as barrow "J" within the Hyde Hill Plantation group (see ST 91 SE 61 / UID: 210105) is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1947 but has subsequently been ploughed level and is visible as a soilmark by 1966. The barrow is centred at ST 9540 1017 and measures 17m in diameter. It comprises a circular mound that measures 14.5m in diameter which is surrounded by a ring ditch. Not all components of the barrow are visible on each aerial photograph. Other barrows in the cemetery are recorded as ST 91 SE 193 to 204, 233, 234, 236 and ST 91 SW 116. <1, 2>
This barrow was formerly described as part of ST 91 SE 61.
