Three barrows on Monkton Down, situated at ST 92900864, ST 92920860 and ST 92880860, were destroyed during construction of Blandford military camp. <1, 3>
Note: 3 barrows were originally recorded under a single NRHE UID but were subsequently separated into 3 separate records on the Dorset HER. Therefore the 3 barrows all share the same NRHE UID 209380 and NMR number ST 90 NW 40. They are MDO5122, MDO5123 and MDO5124.
Note: The group of five barrows situated to the west of Blackland Plantation consists of the following 5 barrows: MDO5120, MDO5121, MDO5122, MDO5123 & MDO5124.
