Full Description
'Group (71) : The Cliff (Tarrant Rawston). Vestiges of 'Celtic' fields are traceable on the shoulder of The Cliff, a steep river cliff rising to 300 ft. above O.D. and facing N.W. over the Tarrant valley. Because of destruction by strip cultivation and later ploughing no complete field survives. Air photographs: CPE/UK 1934 : 3151-3.' (1)
