Summary
One of a group of five barrows on a ridge. In 1970 this monument was described as around 38 feet in diameter with a mound about 1½ feet high, and heavily ploughed. The barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch with remains of an internal mound on aerial photographs and lidar imagery during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

Full Description
A group of five round barrows at the northern end of North Down have been heavily ploughed. … 'B' - (28) - SY 85189960. Bowl barrow, 38ft diameter and 1 1/2ft high. <4>
"SY 852996. Two round barrows NW of Nutley Clump. Scheduled" (These presumably refer to barrows 'A' and 'B'). <5>
'A' and 'B' only are visible in a pasture field. 'A' measures 18.5 by 17.2 metres and 0.6 metres high, while 'B' is 21.4 metres
in diameter and 0.8 metres high. All except 'C' are visible on air photographs. 'A' and 'B' revised at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6>
The barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch, 18m across, with remains of an internal mound on aerial photographs and lidar imagery during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM <9-10>.
