Summary
Traces of the medieval open field system of Whatcombe can be seen north east of Whatcombe Farm, in the form of at least ten contour strip lynchets. Parallel strip lynchets are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
