Full Description
(ST 43700401) Site of Roman settlement. Roof tiles, querns, ring, potsherds. (1)
Colonel Drew had no information on this Roman settlement. The ground surface has been disturbed by surface diggings in the area of the siting given by Authority 1, but no signs of antiquity were
observed. (2)
No other references have been found to this site, and it is possible that Entry 1 has mistaken Blagdon Hill, Broadwindsor, for Blagdon Hill (SU 0517), an area with a number of Roman sites. (3)
