Full Description
Flint tranchet pick and transverse arrowhead, found by W. WREN. [SU 02560059]. <1>
A [SU 02710055]
A. The arrowhead was found during the 1939-45 war and has been loaned to Mr E C CHANCELLOR. FSA. A glass house occupied this site at the time of the find. <2>
Mr Wren pointed out on the ground the approximate positions where he made these finds. As three of the finds were made inside glasshouses, it seems possible, although by no means definite, that the soil was imported into the area. Mr Wren was unable to confirm this suggestion. <3>
