Full Description
A bowl barrow located close to the long barrow ST 91 SE 23, a short distance southeast of the terminal of the Dorset Cursus (Linear 41). RCHME fieldwork recorded the barrow as a mound 35 feet in diameter and up to 2.5 feet high, surrounded by a ditch 9 feet across. The mound has a large hole in the centre, presumably the result of unrecorded antiquarian (or perhaps more recent) excavation. The immediately adjacent round barrow formerly described here has now been recorded separately as ST 91 SE 163. <5>
