Summary

Prehistoric field system now comprising some 180 acres of much broken 'Celtic' field remains in the North west of Alton Pancras and south west of Buckland Newton parishes, extending from south of Holcombe Wood to Ridge Hill. A few traces continue west into Nether Cerne.
