Monument record MDO5690 - Bowl barrow south west of the Belle Vue Barrow, Hampreston, Ferndown Town

Summary
A bowl barrow reported as being around 75 feet in diameter with a mound around four feet high, and thickly overgrown. The barrow is visible on current Lidar imagery and was digitally plotted from this source by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
The barrow is visible on current Lidar imagery (2).
The feature is poorly defined but appears to comprise an irregular elliptical mound approximately 20m by 17. There is no evidence on the available Lidar imagery of any outer ditch.
The feature was digitally plotted from current Lidar imagery by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
