Full Description
Flint Pick (Tranchet) found by E STEWART [centred at SU08300116]. <1>
(SU 0839 0116] Found on the surface of the ground some years ago. Mr Stewart pointed out the spot where he found this pick which is still in his possession. It is a palinated, roughly shaped flint pick 7 1/2" long, 2 1/2" thick & 1 1/2" wide. <2>
SU 083 001. A Mesolithic tranchet-axe has been found in Ferndown. <4>
