Summary
A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1975 this monument was reported as being around 65 feet in diameter with a mound about 4 feet high. The top of the mound has been dug in to, probably in the course of antiquarian investigation. The barrow mound is visible as a low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

SU 06870485 Bowl barrow on the summit of Summerlug Hill; diameter 65 ft, height 4 ft. The centre has been dug into. <2>
A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1975 this monument was reported as being around 65 feet in diameter with a mound about 4 feet high. The top of the mound has been dug in to, probably in the course of antiquarian investigation. The barrow mound is visible as a low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP <3>.
