Full Description
RCHME described the barrows as all having been largely flattened by ploughing, and varying between 25 and 50 feet in diameter. Grinsell measured the extant mound as 7 paces in diameter and 3 inches high, stating that it had "almost gone by 1954". Although the barrow has not been excavated, it is clear that it was ploughed out prior to 1954 and now has limited potential. Geophysical survey and sample excavation may determine the extent of survival and potential, but on present evidence it is not proposed to schedule this barrow. <3>
