Full Description
Four sub-circular features are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery under trees to the south of King Down Drove (1). They each comprise a flat-topped platform surrounded by an outer ditch. The site comprises a linear group of three subcircular features between 24m and 26m across with a fourth outlier to the southwest which is more oval in shape, 28m long and cut by a modern hedge boundary. The features are of uncertain date and function, possibly prehistoric barrows. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
