Full Description

An adult crouched inhumation disturbed by storm damage to a tree in High Wood accompanied by two fourth century coins. A disturbed cremation burial was also found accompanied by fragments of at least two Bronze Age vessels. It is suggested that this marks the location of a destroyed barrow, which became the focus for subsequent funerary activity.
