Full Description
AP evidence reveals wider activity which may relate to quarrying within the vicinity, and Pitt-Rivers excavated a similar mound nearby and found it to be a probable spoil heap. The mounds do not survive as earthworks and are likely to represent quarry spoil heaps. Not recommended for scheduling. <4>
