Full Description

Mesolithic finds from West Parley: One tranchet axe in Dorset County Museum, Dorchester. One tranchet axe in the M.C. Burkitt Collection. (This information is repeated on p.108 as well as p.74. It is not clear if it refers to one axe or two.) A tranchet axe from Parley Cross (SZ 084980), now in Red House Museum, Christchurch. Also from Parley Cross are two scrapers and a "scraper on blade", now in the A.J. Cotton Collection. <1>
