Full Description

Observations during building of a low retaining wall along the edge of the graveyard and re-paving and improvements to drainage around the south and west sides of Wimborne Minster revealed that the ground had been very heavily disturbed in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. On the south side, fragmentary human remains and occasional pieces of coffin fittings of early nineteenth-century date were observed. All human bone was reburied. (1)
