A house known, from documentary evidence, to have been standing on the corner now occupied by Church House. The site is known formerly to have been occupied by an inn, later an ironmongers.

Full Description
Excavation of foundation trenches for an extension to Church House revealed graves of probable medieval date, showing that the building had been built on part of the graveyard around the Minster, and rubbish pits of post-medieval date, interpreted as being in a yard behind the inn. (1)
