Summary
Two small banked mounds at St Giles's Park are visible as earthworks on current Lidar imagery and were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project. Earthworks comprising mounds and banks situated in the grounds of St Giles's House. These are thought to be connected with 18th and 19th-century landscaping of the park.

Full Description
Two small banked mounds at St Giles's Park are visible as earthworks on current Lidar imagery <2>. They are two of a line of five small mounds shown on the OS 1st Edition map <3>. The mounds are thought to represent post medieval mounds or spoil heaps associated with the formal gardens of St Giles's Park.
The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
