Summary
A small round barrow, identified from crop marks on oblique aerial photographs. A barrow is visible as a cropmark at this location on 1995 aerial photographs but this is a comparatively large barrow and there may be some confusion between this barrow and the one recorded under MDO6288. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

A barrow is visible as a cropmark at this location on 1995 aerial photographs (2) and was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
This is a comparatively large barrow and there may be some confusion between this barrow and the one recorded under MDO6288. The barrow plotted by the Dorset NMP project measures approximatately 32.5m in diameter and has a 3.6m wide external ditch and a sub-circular depression, 4m in diameter, off centre towards its southwest side.
