Summary
A round barrow of a type known as a bowl barrow. This monument was reported in 1975 as being approximately 55 feet in diameter and 6 feet high. One of a group lying very close together in a northwest-southeast line beside the road from Edmondsham to Wimborne St Giles.

Full Description
A Bronze Age bowl barrow, one of a group of four (see associated monuments [Note: ie MDO6298, MDO6300 & MDO6301]) lying very close together in a northwest-southeast line beside the road from Edmondsham to Wimborne St Giles. All four are covered with trees and undergrowth. It was described by RCHME as a mound 55 feet in diameter and 6 feet high, with some plough damage on the north east side. [This barrow was formerly recorded as part of SU 01 SW 26].
